I began practicing yoga during my sophomore year in college, where classes were offered for free at the campus gym. I had always been curious about yoga but had never taken a class before then. After taking several yoga classes I began to develop my own at-home practice – and quickly realized that it was becoming one of my passions. I try to cultivate a practice that allows me to be curious, non-judgmental and open to learning from the practice. I began teaching friends and family simply because I wanted to share my practice with those around me. Teaching yoga had always been an aspiration of mine and I was always looking for opportunities to teach.
